Meaning of Blackhat SEO,White Hat SEO,Grey Hat SEO

The hat is not a physical thing in terms of SEO.It is nothing but a tag or a category by which a website quality type is identified in terms of SEO.These groups or tags are assumed by SEO experts and also by Google for identifying the quality of a website.
Generally, there are three groups in which a website's SEO exists:-

  • White hat SEO
  • Black hat SEO
  • Grey hat SEO

White hat SEO:-

This tag is given to those websites which never break any rule of SEO.They always follow all the rules of  Google and never do any activity by which they lose the Google's trust.These websites focus on their readers, not on the website.So the admin of website does not greedy for money.They follow all the methods and tools which are positive for SEO and for winning the google's trust.Therefore, they exist for years of years on Google's SERP.The website admin of this type of website has a lot of patience.They know if they win the google trust then they can easily get organic free traffic.Sometimes we can say they are a very good writer and never left any mistake in their content and do a long research on the content. Therefore, they published a unique and best quality content.Due to this reason Google robots gives focus on their websites.

Black Hat SEO:-

It is opposite to white hat SEO.These tags are applied on bad websites.Bad websites mean they do work opposite to the conditions and rules of the Google.They follow many bad methods and tools like link exchange,link farming,keyword stuffing,hidden text, traffic exchange and much more.The main motive of using these bad methods is for earn money fast in a shortcut way.So they never exist for a long time.Sometimes black hat SEO websites can follow spammy methods. The audience is not their main preference.Tedipost describes them in a small slogan:- "money and be popular and be hateful by audiences"

Grey Hat SEO:-

It is the term between black hat and white hat and mainly used by SEO professionals.This tag is not purely wrong and not purely right for our blogs and our websites.It consists of following activities:-

  • Buying used Domains
  • Buying links
  • Cloaking
  • Paid reviews
